Richard Stiennon is the founder and Chief Research Analyst at IT-Harvest, an industry analyst firm established in 2005 to cover thousands of cybersecurity vendors. Previously, he held executive roles including Vice President of Research at Gartner, Chief Marketing Officer at Fortinet, and Vice President of Threat Research at Webroot Software.
He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in War in the Modern World from King’s College London. An acclaimed speaker in over 30 countries, Richard serves on advisory boards such as the Information Governance Initiative and sits on the R2-TAC technical advisory committee.
Richard is the author of ten books, including Surviving Cyberwar and the Washington Post bestseller There Will Be Cyberwar, and regularly contributes thought leadership to publications like Forbes, CSO Magazine, and The Analyst Syndicate.
